An Easter wedding at Wasing Park
Well this one was quite the delight… I do love a wedding at Wasing Park but with this springy selection on the moodboards- I just knew it would pop!
How the day started
As the ceremony was scheduled for 12:30pm we jumped to it in order to get their ceremony arch completed. After a few price points were discussed for the arch- Amy decided to push the boat out and have what we described as “MEGA ARCH”. This determined how full the arch would look as well as a chance to include a host of colours and flower varieties to frame the all important ceremony. This was then moved onto the wedding breakfast as I am always keen to repurpose as many items as possible for the day. The base was made with moss sausages to keep the flowers sustained and also a nod towards the sustainability measures that Wasing Park and I hold closely to create beautiful weddings without the huge impact on the environment.
The Garden Room at Wasing is so versatile when it comes to flowers- the neutral tones of the floor and serene surroundings of the outdoor planting makes the perfect background for any colour palette.
Banquet style tables or rounds?
The trestle tables at Wasing are simply stunning, and it was so lovely to decorate these with a selection of ecofriendly displays and glassware bottles for guests to take home and enjoy the following day.
I had a number of messages from Amy and Jake’s friends, family and other wedding suppliers saying how pleased they were to take some of the flowers home with them, and how long they continued to bloom for.
So let this be your wedding flowers inspiration- for a wedding at Wasing Park in the spring- here is your bright and vibrant theme to dream about.
