Post Barn Wedding of Mr & Mrs Flowers. Post Barn is one of the loveliest venues I have had the pleasure of decorating, and also for one of the loveliest couples too. And when they will also be known and Mr and Mrs Flowers- going big on the flowers for the Post Barn was an absolute must!

Jess and Alex gave me the brief of “pastel, lovely and seasonal” and when I hear this as a supplier- inside I do a little dance- from our first chat I knew that this was going to be AWESOME!

They put their trust in me to select the best flowers for the day, and I had the following recipe:

Peonies (if available)- for early August this wasn’t guaranteed but my wholesalers pulled it out of the bag and we had them!

Constance David Austin Roses, Clematis, Delphinium, Cosmos, Tanacetum, Lisianthus, Astilbe, Eucalyptus, Veronica, Dahlias, Antirrhinum

And it all made for a fab blend (even if I do say so myself!!). The Post Barn team were super helpful, attentive and even offered us drinks throughout the set up (a growing rarity I must say!!!) so I felt very welcomed. Very much looking forward to more weddings with The Post Barn team.

The ceremony was outside, and as Post Barn is purpose built- it meant that this had been planned to provide shade for the happy couple throughout their vows. My broken arch provided a statement backdrop for the all important bit- and for the group photos afterwards. Quick whizz to inside with the arch- so it doubled up as a framing for the top table- making the flower budget go even further for my lovely couple.

Loving the growing trend of pocket buttonholes too.

Table displays were made in containers provided by my couple (always love a collab!)- so these could be gifted to friends and family members after the big day.

The day went without a hitch- a fab team of suppliers and a fantastic venue saw that Mr and Mrs Flowers had the best day ever- can’t wait to work with you again Post Bar n.
